I have determined that Courtney and Laurie are suffering from 'extreme klutz syndrome' (EKS). The most common symptoms are slipping on ice, getting bit by animals, falling down, and frequent visits to medical facilities. Below is a chart comparing the two specimens. You can see the affected regions circled in blue.

Already they both show three affected areas. This number will increase exponentially over time. A graph of this phoenomenom is below.
